this is the first movie list that i’ve put together for you to enjoy during the Christmas holidays.
for me, these days are truly special and sacred, dedicated to magic and inspiration. every year, after revisiting the classics of both Soviet and Western Christmas cinema for the hundredth time, i’m just looking for a good movie, one that doesn't necessarily have to be tied to Christmas. i want to see something new, beautiful, subtle, life-affirming, and even if it's somewhat sad, then something inspiring.
